Rocksource is Norwegian, independent oil and gas company focusing on exploration. Through a strictly disciplined, selective approach to exploration we have built a quality portfolio of drillable prospects with a high chance of discovery and commercial volumes.

Rocksource explores where we can make a difference. Our competitive edge is the exploration phase, and we focus our business to where electromagnetic technology (EM) works. We aim to prove more barrels quicker and at lower cost than conventional explorers. Our exploration potential currently exceeds 1 billion barrels (net risked resources).

The Company has currently two main discoveries in its portfolio; The Norvarg gas discovery in the Barents Sea and the Trident oil discovery in the Gulf of Mexico. More information on these discoveries can be found visiting the “Assets” tab on this web site.
