APA 2009 award to Rocksource

Rocksource ASA (Rocksource) is pleased to announce the award of one new license in the APA 2009 Licensing Round on the Norwegian Continental Shelf announced by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.

Rocksource was awarded operatorship and 60 per cent ownership in PL 559, Blocks 6608/10,11. The license group consists of: Rocksource (operator, 60%), VNG Norge (30%) and Skagen 44 (10%).

Phase one of the work programme consists of G&G studies and reprocessing of 3D seismic. A drill or drop decision has to be made within the next two years.
