Approved prospectus and information regarding subsequent offering

Reference is made to stock exchange announcements of 30 April, 4 May and 1 June regarding the private placement conducted 30 April and the subsequent repair issue.

The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway has today approved the combined listing and offering prospectus in connection with (1) the subsequent offering and listing of up to 16,600,000 shares and (2) the listing of 66,163,900 shares on Oslo Børs, each with a nominal value of NOK 1.00 issued in connection with the already completed private placement.

The Subsequent offering:
The company will issue non-tradable subscription rights. Shareholders in Rocksource ASA as of 29 April 2010 who did not receive shares in the private placement will receive one subscription right per 9,5 shares owned as of 29 April 2010. One
subscription right will grant the right to subscribe for one share. The subscription price is NOK 3.00 per share. The subscription period will be from and including 3 June 2010 to and including 17:30 (CEST) 17 June 2010.

Eligible shareholders will receive a letter with information regarding the number of subscription rights received. The letter is expected to be sent from Oslo within a few days.

Managers:
The managers for the transaction have been SEB Enskilda, Pareto Securities and FirstEnergy Capital.

Method of publication:
The prospectus has been made public by availability at the offices of the company and the managers.
