Partner meetings for Block CY-DWN-2001/1
On the 4th and 5th of March 2009 Rocksource ASA (“Rocksource”) participated in the Technical and the Operation Committees of the CY-DWN-2001/1 block, in Chennai, India.
Rocksource presented the company’s evaluation and recommended drilling location on the positive controlled source electromagnetic (“CSEM”) anomaly and the associated mapped prospect. The presentation was well received both by the operator and the partners, and Rocksource was acknowledged for solid technical work. The operator supported Rocksource’s recommended location for the well. Further details will be announced when the partnership takes the final decision for the third and last well in the first phase work program for the block.
