Rocksource participation in consortium
Rocksource is pleased to announce the participation in a research consortium at the University of Bergen, Norway. The project is funded by the Norwegian Research Council (NFR) and the oil companies Chevron, Rocksource, StatoilHydro and Total.
The title of the consortium project is “Reservoir Monitoring and Dynamic Reservoir Characterization with Production, Seismic and Electromagnetic Data”. The research takes place at the Centre for Integrated Petroleum Research (CIPR), University of Bergen, in collaboration with CGG Veritas and Centre of Mathematics for Applications (CMA), University of Oslo.
The focus of the project is research within the following areas: time-lapse electromagnetics, time-lapse seismic, rock physics, reservoir monitoring, reservoir characterization, and joint inversion with different data types.
