Rocksource US Field facilities update
The Rocksource Group is pleased to confirm that progress for installation of new processing facilities in the Drews Landing field in the US is going according to plan.
The necessary work (“hot-tap”) to connect to the gas export line is now underway as is the final installation of the processing equipment which will be followed by connecting and testing the entire facility.
The producing wells will be sequentially shut-in and then tied in to the new facilities and gradually opened up for production through the new facilities. After the high-pressure wells are tied-in and opened, compressors will be installed to increased production from wells with low-pressure zones early 2008.
All wells drilled and completed to date have been tested with production to sales. A further update will be given before end December together with production rates from wells opened at that time.
