SPE award for best presentation
Rocksource Vice President of Technology, Dr. Jonny Hesthammer, has won the SPE Best Presentation award during a conference in Bergen 18th April 2007. The award was given for the presentation: "CSEM Technology - From Exploration to Production". Hesthammer presented during a session labeled “New Technology Frontiers”. In total, 65 papers where presented at the conference. Rocksource geophysicist Mikhail Boulaenko was a co-author on the paper presented.
The conference was titled "Petroleum Engineering and Reservoir Management" and held by the Bergen section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
CEO of Rocksource, Trygve Pedersen comments: "Hesthammer presented recent R&D results using Rocksource's proprietary EM tecnology for exploration activities and furthermore demonstrated some of the potential for bringing the technology into production. Receiving this type of award is very motivating for all of us in Rocksource, and it is an encouragement to continue to push technology frontiers even further".
