Spud of the Norvarg prospect in PL 535 and update on the Kora well in AGC Profond

Rocksource ASA (OSE: RGT) announced today that the drilling rig "West Phoenix" has commenced drilling on the "Norvarg" prospect in PL 535 in the Barents Sea.

A detailed technical presentation of the Norvarg prospect can be found in the Company's Q4 2010 results presentation under the "Investor" tab on www.rocksource.com.

The PL 535 partnership consists of Total E&P Norge (Operator and 40 per cent working interest), Det norske oljeselskap (20 per cent), North Energy (20 per cent), and Rocksource (20 per cent).

Drilling of the "Kora" prospect on the AGC Profond PSC, off the coast of West Africa has been delayed due to prolonged operations at the drilling rig's current location. The well is now expected to spud late May. Rocksource will announce the spud of the well when drilling commences.
