Blocks 9/11, 9/12 & 10/10.
This license is in the southern part of the North Sea and lies in the vicinity of the existing PL 441.
The license group consists of:
Noreco (operator), 40%
Det norske Oljeselskap AS, 40%
Rocksource ASA, 20%.
Work programme
Comprises an initial period of 6 years, divided into three phases:
• Phase 1 (3 years):A minimum of 400 km2 of 3D seismic will be acquired. After three years a decision to drill or relinquish the license will be made.
• Phase 2 (2 years): After the first well has been drilled a decision to relinquish or continue will be made.
• Phase 3 (1 year): Submit PDO or relinquish.
Current status
Prospect evaluation is complete. A drill or drop decision will be made within February 28th 2011.
