The way we work
Rocksource is an oil and gas exploration company which aims to reduce the risk within its prospect portfolio using all available exploration tools in the industry. The company puts a particular emphasis on applying EM technology and special geophysical studies, integrated with all other data and information available to assist in polarising prospect risk prior to exploration decisions.
Developments in electromagnetic (EM) technology over recent years and its subsequent use in offshore hydrocarbon exploration have already shown encouraging results in detecting hydrocarbon reserves in potential reservoirs prior to drilling wells
Rocksource believes that a systematic search for direct hydrocarbon indications (DHI’s) by application of EM technology and advanced geophysical methods will add to the exploration toolkit and so assist in its exploration efforts.
Rocksource has a dedicated EM team and has developed its proprietary technology and staff competence on a large number of EM data sets. The exploration staff also includes a special geophysics team the utilized the latest geophysical technologies available in the market.
The combination of experienced explorationists, special EM and geophysics teams give Rocksoure the ability to make quality decisions regarding license applications and drill decisions.
