West Africa Exploration

The North West African margin is still largely under explored but has significant potential as seen at the recent Jubilee discovery, in deep water Ghana. Several other discoveries in the area have also been made (e.g. Chinguetti, Dome Flore, Faucon) highlighting a working petroleum system but commercial success has been limited. The prospectivity in this region is mostly CSEM suitable and where the Rocksource acquisition, processing and interpretation of CSEM data can be an important tool for high grading prospects and showing those most likely to hold commercial volumes.
