Rocksource (OSE:RGT) is pleased to announce the award of three new licences in the 22nd Licensing Round on the Norwegian Continental Shelf announced today by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
On 28 May 2013 the Annual General Meeting was held in Rocksource ASA.
Rocksource ASA (Rocksource or Company) recorded an operating income of NOK 7.4 million for the first quarter of 2013. First quarter 2013 exploration expenses totalled NOK 37.5 million, up from NOK 34.3 million for first quarter 2012. A net loss of NOK 9.4 million was recorded for the first quarter of 2013 compared with a net loss of NOK 80.6 million for the corresponding quarter of 2012.

Rocksource ASA is pleased to announce that drilling of the Norvarg appraisal well (Norvarg 2) in PL 535 in the Barents Sea has commenced.
Rocksource ASA (“Rocksource”) announces that the drilling rig “Borgland Dolphin” has completed drilling of the main reservoir and the secondary target at the high risk Storbarden prospect in PL 506S in the North Sea. The well has not encountered hydrocarbons. Final data acquisition and analysis is currently on-going after which the well will be plugged and abandoned.
Rocksource ASA (“Rocksource”) is pleased to announce that drilling of the Storbarden well in PL 506S in the North Sea has commenced. This marks the return to drilling for Rocksource, and the first of five wells that the Company currently has lined up for drilling over the next two years.
The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has granted Rocksource a drilling permit for well 26/5-1 in Production Licence (PL) 506 S in the North Sea. The drilling programme for well 26/5-1 covers drilling of a wildcat well targeting the high risk high reward Storbarden prospect in the Stord Basin.
Reference is made to stock exchange notice dated 12th September 2012 in which Rocksource ASA (Rocksource or Company) announced a farm-in into PL 586 in the Norwegian Sea. The operator VNG Norge AS has now finalized work on establishing a new partnership, with Faroe Petroleum Norge AS, Rocksource and an undisclosed third party entering the license.
Rocksource ASA (Rocksource or Company) recorded an operating income of NOK 3.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2012. Total operating revenue for 2012 was NOK 55.6 million compared with NOK 186.0 million for the corresponding period of 2011.
